The waters flowing over the caldera complex have, over seventy three thousands of years ago in northern sumatra, It's namely Lake Toba. It is the largest lake in Indonesia and the largest volcanic lake in the world.
Lake Toba is creating natural dams which in turn have created a series of beautiful lakes with large island of Samosir in the middle. On the island there are waterfalls and hot volcanic springs (Air Panas). In the dry season most of the waterfalls stop flowing.
Lake Toba is mostly sought after for its tranquil beauty, but you’ll also find plenty to see and do. Here are some of the popular things to see in Lake Toba
